Before Thank You Day
1. Create and decorate cards, posters, banners and signs.
2. Plan where you’re going and when. Give those details to all media.
3. Talk to neighbors and get them agree to put up signs in their yards and windows.
4. Pass on the information of where signs will be posted to Police and Fire stations so they know where to see them when they have the time to stop by.
5. Have local churches, schools, clubs create a jumbo card (tri-fold board) that everyone signs their thanks to and prepare to deliver on May 19th. (Since Thank You Day is intended to start a habit of thanking First Responders regularly, delivering your Thanks can happen any other day.)
